Customer Projects

We would like to take this opportunity to invite all of our friends & customers to share their projects with us and the rest of the world. We don't care what type of project it is. Diversity is what makes all of us unique and we would love to showcase this fact.

Please send us your JPG pictures and a description to the following e-mail address. We will do our best to keep up. We would like a description of what MB tools you used and how they made your project easier or special.

"I've have been flying and restoring airplanes for over 50 years and was delighted when I discovered your booth at Oshkosh.  I have used a wide variety of tools and equipment from a number of different manufacturers but the quality of your products is first class all the way.    Please give me a call and I will be happy to discuss with you my aviation career.  Thanks for using the picture of my airplane in your catalog.  I am indeed honored and proud to be a part of this publication."

Travis Bennett introduced himself to us at a PRI show several years ago. He is a very talented driver, but we never got him into our truck. He runs in the Northwest and has been pretty successful, winning several races each year. He has also been invited to the All-American Shoot-out at Irwindale CA Speedway the past two years and done very well.

In a former life Jim, who now does our catalog & web site, built dragsters. These are two examples of the winning machines. Theses cars were built using Mittler Bros. Bench Press, Bead Roller and most importantly the Ultimate tubing notcher.

Numerous NHRA and IHRA Best Engineered awards as well as multiple Divisional and National events wins.

How's this for One COOL Wagon!!!

Allen Cox built this for his daughter, Lucky Girl!!

"...........The pictures are of a wagon I built for my daughter. I started with a set of wheel, tires and a wagon tube. Everything else I fabricated including spindles, shocks, rack and pinion, brakes, and seat. Most  components are 6061. I used the proformer  box brake, smart tool, 90 and 180 bender."

" I am a proud owner of many Mittler products including the recent purchase of the ultimate notcher. Once again I am very pleased with my purchase. The quality of the product far exceeds all others and worth the investment."

"Thank you for building a product I can count on for a long time."

Tom Isbell             Tom Has Some Great Uses for Our Bead Roller
Some of my projects are shown in the attached pictures. The first is an inside door panel for a '56 Willys wagon. Also I removed the side windows and converted the wagon to a panel. I used the bead roller to free-hand the "W" (just like the Willys logo) in the door panels. I used the roller to free-hand a detail bead around the out side of the door panels and the panels that replaced the windows. Another project, a customer needed to repair the rear fenders on his '41 Willys coupe. They had been cut out for slicks in the '60s. I made a set of mild steel dies and turned a round lip on the wheel opening edge of the patch panels I made for him. I have done a lot of reinforcing beads on floor pans. I made a simple battery box with some reinforcing beads. I couldn't have done the work without the MB power bead roller, since I work alone. Since I don't know what a bead roller can't do, I am not afraid to try anything. So far it has all worked. I have had to make a number of weird dies, but that's half the fun. I just wanted to share some of my interesting projects with you.
