Siding Brake

Siding Brake – The Solution for Machinists

Durable Siding or Sheet Metal Brakes

A siding brake is used commonly for creating cuts and bends in aluminum sheet metal (or mild steels). Brakes are used for various applications such as cutting, bending and finishing aluminum siding from homes, creating replacement parts for automotive panels, doors, fenders, etc., or for many other uses in aviation and marine applications. Whether your business produces home siding, or your machinists, repair shop, auto body shop, or manufacturing business needs sheet metal brakes (siding brake) for fabrications, repairs, replacement parts or manufacturing/assembly, Mittler Bros. manufactures several brake systems and accessories.

Siding brakes are portable usually, although larger models are designed for industrial, manufacturing or repair work. Essentially, there are three different categories of siding brakes. These include a bench brake/bench press, manual or hand brakes, and pan or box and pan brakes. Frequently, bench brakes may be too large for “do-it-yourselfers” and are used in machine shops or industrial/manufacturing companies. Many of the other types of brakes (hand or box and pan) can be set up on the spot, in a small shop, or even in a home or garage if needed.
